The aims of EVERSIO
It is common knowledge that Malta's performance in any international competition is usually bleaker than those of the larger nations, yet we do get the occasional spark of talent among our practices. The Maltese professional athletes, singers, performers, you name it all try their best so that their country is recognized. In e-sport, this is not different, that is why, we, as project EVERSIO (meaning 'destruction' in latin) aspire to be a 'clan' who turns our mere hobby, into something that can be recognized, and that we can be proud of. Founded in July 2007, we aim at promoting competitive play not only on a local level, but also move in the international scene.
Maltese e-sport is plagued as unfortunately, we are no longer a multi-gaming community, but focused only on one game, and this is a weakness. Therefore, in attempt to revitalize interest in competition on different levels, we have squads for different games, namely Enemy Territory, Call of Duty 2, FEAR, FIFA 07 and Counter Strike Source. project EVERSIO is always looking for more teams and individuals, but as expected we do try to keep a high level of performance in our different squads.
