eversio at HACKERS LAN!06/27/2009

project EVERSIO will be sending over both our Call of Duty 4 team and our FIFA team to play at the first local Summer LAN, set up and run by our own partner and sponsor: Hackers Internet Cafe`. Between the 26th and the 29th of June, our players will be striving to secure more gold medals in our already busty collection.

The CoD4 tournament sports a €750 first prize, whilst the FIFA tournament has an eDimensional Audio FX Headset up for grabs. The majority of the best local CoD4 teams will be in attendance, so winning will be far from easy, but our players are confident in doing so. The LAN also has a €750 Call of Duty 2 tournament, CSS, Quake 3 as well as a couple of XBOX tournaments. Our Management, comprising of Anton 'Mewt' Xuereb and Michele 'mikk' Magro

The CoD4 squad of project EVERSIO is taking part in the Launch cup of the Malta Cyber Games - the first local intiative to focus solely on eSport. The cup features almost the entire complement of local CoD4 teams with a small hardware prize for the winner sponsored by Hackers Internet Cafe`: 5x Pro Gyroscopic Gamepads.

eversio.cod4 at the Infused & ShopTo.net Cup05/31/2009

In the first Infused & CryoPC CoD4 Cup, we had placed in the top 32 out of the 128 after a disappointing loss against WELIEKGAMES; this time round, we will be striving for a better standing.

Another 128 teams have signed up to the second version of the cup, sponsored by ShopTo.net, who are providing some very neat prizes:
1st place: £750 in Cash
2nd place: £500 instore credit for ShopTo.net
3rd place: £250 instore credit for ShopTo.net

Loads of excellent teams are making their appearance, including Team-Dignitas, eSuba, FNATIC.MSI and Reason Gaming. We have been seeded in the top32.

CoD4 at the NSL CoD4.EU05/09/2009

Our quickly arising Call of Duty 4 team will be taking part in the Net Series League organised by gamemod.pl. Whilst traditionally a Polish league, this season is open to all European teams, and with some neat hardware prizes on the line, several decent teams have pledged to participate, including Reason Gaming, Tempus Moriendi and PokerStars. EVERSIO have also been seeded in the top 16.

The seasonal Clanbase leagues are back for Spring 2009; following last season's 2nd place at the CB OC 3rd League, eversio.CoD4 will be trying to prove themselves yet again, this time, on a higher skill level.

Clanbase Eurocup XIX

Widely considered one of the most prestigious online cups, Eversio is the first Maltese team to ever be invited to play in this cup, albeit we first have to play a qualifying round.

UPDATE: Due to example having dropped out of the competition, another spot is available for the EC, and EVERSIO will have to play another qualifier against Revolution, which we have already beaten in the Infused Cup. The game will be played the day we get back from iLAN.

Gradually, our Call of Duty 4 team is getting back to form, with decent results in the CoD4.EU SD Pro Ladder, placing in the Top 50, while winning c4cups #113 with ease, our main short-term focus will be the ESL Winter League 08, where we are placed in Group D of the 2nd Division. project EVERSIO, together with partner Hackers Internet LAN Gaming Centre have just come into agreement with General Softdrinks, manufacturers and distributors of various types and brands of beverages on the Maltese islands. In return for providing us with their product during LAN events, EVERSIO will be promoting one of GSD's brands: Burn.

Local CoD4 Tournaments!04/10/2009

At long last some serious local competition came into being with the announcement of two local CoD4 competitions with prizes. Team-MMD, with the lauch of their new website, have gone out and announced a CoD2 and CoD4 cup with a €50 Voucher from MMD-Trading to the winner and will be held on the 10th of April. The recently announced Malta Cyber Games is also holding a Launch Cup to promote their initiatives with some hardware on the line, albeit dates are still to be announced.
